I. Core Transmission Components
1. Sun Gear
As the power input, the sun gear connects directly to the input shaft via precision splines. Made from carburized and quenched 20CrMnTi alloy steel, it ensures fatigue resistance at high speeds. Its tooth profile undergoes topology optimization to withstand 125% of rated dynamic torque.
2. Planet Gears
3-6 planet gears, evenly distributed by a high-precision carrier, rotate around the sun gear. Supported by double-row tapered roller bearings, they perform compound motion (rotation + revolution). Ion-nitrided tooth surfaces (hardness ≥ HRC60) and 0.008–0.012mm crowned teeth reduce meshing noise.
3. Ring Gear (Annulus)
A forged 42CrMo monolithic ring gear, deep-nitrided with internal teeth machined to DIN 3962 Grade 6 accuracy. Fixed to the housing via 0.05–0.08mm interference fit, it forms a closed power-splitting structure with >98% efficiency.
4. Planet Carrier
Cast from QT600-3 nodular iron with topology-optimized ribs. Planet shaft holes are machined on 5-axis CNC centers (±0.005mm positional tolerance), paired with hydraulic preload tools for zero-backlash assembly.
II. Support & Assurance Systems
1. Bearing System
Planet gears use full-complement cylindrical roller bearings (e.g., SKF NJ206ECP), while axial loads are managed by double-direction angular contact thrust bearings. All bearing seats are ground with CBN wheels (roundness ≤2μm), achieving >50,000-hour L10 life under oil-air lubrication.
2. Lubrication & Sealing
Integrated helical oil channels and centrifugal slingers enable forced lubrication. Fluororubber dual-lip seals maintain IP65 protection from -40°C to 120°C. With synthetic PAO oil, service intervals reach 8,000 hours.
3. Housing
Split housing of HT300 gray iron, stress-relieved by vibration aging. Joint surface flatness: 0.02mm/m; laser-aligned shaft parallelism: ≤0.01mm/100mm.
